Holywood Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce Active Health Solutions as the winner of the Health & Wellbeing / Feel Good & Fit Award in this month’s Holywood Chamber Presidents Awards, recognising their outstanding contribution to health, wellbeing, and community life in Holywood.
Located on Hibernia Street in the heart of the town, Active Health provides expert physiotherapy and podiatry services, supporting people of all ages to improve their health, mobility, and quality of life. Their wide-ranging services include physiotherapy for pain management and rehabilitation, podiatry, Pilates, Women’s Health services, and community initiatives such as free monthly workshops and Forever Fit classes for over-70s.
Founded by husband-and-wife team David and Rachel Saligari in 2007, Active Health’s mission has always been to provide a multidisciplinary approach that helps people live free from pain and stiffness, enabling them to continue doing the things they love.
Over the past year, the business has continued to expand and innovate – launching a dedicated Women’s Health service, adding new Pilates classes, and investing in advanced Kinvent technology to deliver precise strength and movement assessments. Their reputation for excellence was further reinforced when they secured a major four-year service contract, highlighting their trusted expertise and consistent results.
The Chamber also recognised Find Your Happy Life, run by Julie Wood, Hypnotherapist, Life Coach and NLP Practitioner, located in Kings House in the town, which was Highly Commended in this category for its outstanding contribution to supporting personal transformation, confidence, and wellbeing within the community.
